About

Skincare with Rachael

What started as a mission to fix my own over-treated, barrier-damaged skin became a practice dedicated to helping other women do the same.

The Story

How This Started

I was one of those people. I bought the TikTok trends. I did the aggressive peels because everyone said they were "results-driven." I didn't know that I was destroying my skin barrier in the process.

My skin got worse. I was embarrassed. I tried expensive med-spa facials and left feeling like I was just another face on a conveyor belt. They didn't ask about my routine. They didn't care if their aggressive treatment made sense for my skin. They just wanted to upsell me the laser.

That's when I decided to get certified as an esthetician. I wanted to understand what my skin actually needed—and I wanted to help other women figure it out too.

What I learned shocked me: most of the skincare confusion comes from the industry itself. From conflicting advice. From aggressive treatments that feel "clinical" and therefore credible. From apps and influencers pushing products that don't belong on most people's skin.

I built Fort Worth Skincare Club to be the opposite of all that. A private space where one person gets my full attention. Where we slow down, assess, and plan. Where consistency and customization matter more than aggression.

My Philosophy

Good Skin Isn't About Perfection

It's about understanding what's happening with your specific skin and treating it accordingly. It's about resisting the urge to throw everything at the problem and instead building a real plan.

Good skin comes from:

  • Consistency. One amazing facial doesn't change your skin. A relationship with a specialist who knows your patterns does.
  • Customization. Your skin is not someone else's skin. What works for your friend might destroy your barrier.
  • Clarity. You need to understand what you're doing and why. Not buzzwords. Not trends. Real information.
  • Trust. In a provider who actually cares about the outcome, not a quota.

What I Actually Believe

Less is Usually Better

I won't recommend a product you don't need. I won't push a treatment that doesn't make sense for your skin. The clients who see the best results are the ones who trust the process, not the ones with the biggest product collection.

Your Barrier Is Sacred

Aggressive exfoliation might feel like it's "doing something," but it's often hurting your skin. I specialize in barrier repair because I know how painful it is to have compromised skin. We work with your skin, not against it.

You Deserve to Be Remembered

Not a client number. Not a new face every week. I keep detailed notes on your skin. I remember what we worked on last month. I notice when something has changed. That's how real relationships—and real results—happen.

Your Questions Matter

Ask why we're using this product. Ask what your skin barrier is and why it matters. Ask what happens if you stop the treatment. I want you to understand your skin as much as I do.

Credentials & Training

Licensed Esthetician, State of Texas. Ongoing training in advanced skincare modalities, including microneedling, enzyme treatments, and barrier repair protocols.

I stay current on skincare science because this industry moves fast. What we knew about the skin barrier 5 years ago is different from today. What's trending on TikTok is different from what's evidence-based. Part of my job is translating the science into actual advice for your skin.

But credentials don't replace something more important: I listen. I observe. I care about the outcome. That's what makes the difference.

Why Fort Worth Matters

This Is My Community

I built Fort Worth Skincare Club in Fort Worth because this is where I live. My clients are my neighbors. The woman who comes in for her monthly ritual might be the person I see at Cocolalla or at TCU events.

That matters to me. I'm not a franchise checking boxes. I'm a specialist invested in the skin health of the women in my community.
